Dr. Cory Sims is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner who was in private practice for 9 years before joining the Rehabilitation and Mobility team at NC State.  Dr. Sims has always believed in the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices for our pets just as we would for ourselves.  She understands the importance of sharing daily activities to the human-animal bond and how devastating it can be for both animals and owners when pets experience a debilitating disease or injury.  Providing physical rehabilitation therapy to patients who otherwise have limited options for restoring mobility or controlling pain is tremendously rewarding.  Dr. Sims is continually inspired by her work and her patients’ physical and emotional responses to therapy.
