Our practice:
About 50% elderly patients seeking better quality of life, and about 50% injured patients for either conservative or post-operative care. We are a high-touch, client information orientated practice. Fear free handling techniques are not only used but internalized by our staff. We strive to have every pet, even the nasty ones, dragging their people though the door. Our unofficial mission statement is: our patients and clients are family with boundaries. Our staff is utilized to the fullest extent and our clients think of them as an arm of their pet’s care. We partner closely with Eddie’s Wheels and are a Partner Clinic with Orthopets for orthoses and prosthetics.

Our clients:
Our clients are the A #1 clients of their general practitioners. They are eager to do whatever is needed for their pets. As we are in the home of Nike, Adidas and Intel, they usually can afford the best that veterinary medicine can provide.

Portland:
If you’ve seen Portlandia, it is not far off. Well known for its liberal politics, you will see every shade of hair color, gender, nationalities and religions here. We even have the Unipiper (check him out if you are not familiar! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBTTI-zUgbt8whLszMqjvZw) . It is one of the #1 dog cities in the US with a population that is all about health and the outdoors. Everywhere you go there are parks, trails, museums, concerts and community events. You can get to skiing or the ocean with a 1.5 hour drive. Schools have a great reputation and our health care system is top notch with Oregon Health Sciences University at the center of town. The veterinary community and our VMAs are friendly and supportive. We enjoy first-name relationships with our local rDVMs, surgeons and neurologists.

Come learn, grow, teach and laugh with us! We often hear from clients – “I want to work here! You guys are always laughing and have so much fun!”
