About MobilityVet:

MobilityVet is a single doctor mobile rehabilitation practice seeking to grow with a certified
rehabilitation technician or PT to provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and
modality appointments in client homes on a mobile basis. Rehabilitation equipment
available includes a Class IV laser, focused extracorporeal shockwave, therapeutic
ultrasound, TENS/NMES, and extensive therapeutic exercise equipment. Dr. Porterfield is
rehabilitation, acupuncture and chiropractic certified as well as massage trained. After an
initial training/supervisory period, there is the potential to grow toward independent visits
meeting both the doctor and patient comfort level, but some overlap will occur with
patients who require greater assistance (on either the doctor or technician schedule) for
behavioral or diagnostic reasons, as well as in home euthanasia appointments (infrequent
and generally reserved for current clients due to availability). This practice is open Monday
through Friday with doctor appointments on Tuesday through Friday currently. Weekends
are not required but certainly optional if preferred by the prospective candidate after the
training period.
