Healing Tails Chicago Pet Rehabilitation and Acupuncture is a standalone rehab facility located near the heart of downtown Chicago. We are looking for a full or part time therapist to join our team. Our facility is equipped with a class 4 laser, 2 gyms with land therapy equipment and an underwater treadmill. We currently have one veterinarian trained in rehab, chiropractic care and acupuncture and one physical therapist. We are open to either a trained assistant, physical therapist, veterinarian or certified veterinary technician.
At Healing Tails we value both work-life balance and aim to create a calm and healing environment for both our clients, patients and employees. We love all of our clients and do not tolerate any rude or disrespectful behavior. Patient care is 1:1 with only one patient utilizing the gym at the time. Appointments are 45 minutes long, but we block 1 hour of time to ensure time between appointments for note take, cleaning, etc. We bill based on time rather than modality so the pet receives whatever treatments they might need during that 45 minutes including massage, therapeutic exercise, laser therapy and/or underwater treadmill therapy.
Job duties would depend on the individual’s licensure – veterinarians and physical therapists would be expected to perform evaluations while CVT and assistants would work directly with our DVM to carry out the patient treatment plans.

Salary: based on experience and licensure
