I am seeking a LVT, DC, PT or experienced vet tech that is already certified or interested in certification in CCRP, CCAT, CCRT or the likes. I’m ideally looking for someone interested in running the rehab department and managing the practice.
Job details: It’s a vet clinic, but we ONLY do pain management and mobility. No vaccines, no emergency. Just mobility. We LOVE our clients, and I won’t tolerate anyone bringing negativity into the work place (client and employee alike).
Day to day: you’ll be evaluating dogs mostly, but we do see horses and livestock as well. We are focusing on MOTION. We work on dogs that can’t walk all the way to performance dogs. You’ll need to *eventually* be able to recognize which exercises are needed to get to the end goal. Everyone’s goal is different, so there’s no protocol here. You gotta use your brain. We have a team approach, you will have full freedom to ask for a second opinion and we will have case rounds frequently. The position can be molded to your credentials, so I can’t get too specific here. Your patients will have access to:
– Underwater treadmill
– rehabilitation gym
– In house X-rays
– In house PRP/joint injections
– Acupuncture/Chiropractic/Laser
– Shockwave
