Dulles South Veterinary Center is looking for an experienced C.C.R.P. to help grow and develop our full service rehabilitation program. Services we provide include physical rehabilitation, massage, under water treadmill, Grade IV Therapy Laser, individual therapeutic exercises, and exercise equipment. We also offer alternative therapies such as acupuncture and electroacupuncture. All orthopedic procedures are done in house and include a compliment of rehabilitation sessions to ensure client/patient follow-through.

An opportunity for a qualified veterinary physiotherapist has arisen as Lorna Macnee, RVN, PGC A.Phys, mNAVP, CERP, CCRP is departing Guernsey in December 2017.

The vacancy is two-fold.

Initially & primarily, the small animal physiotherapist position is as an employee with Vets4Pets, Guernsey, an established small animal practice with all the latest diagnostic equipment. At the main veterinary practice there are 5 vets & their nursing team.

The candidate’s place of work is the V4P Wellness Centre, just a few miles north of the main practice. It is a self-contained, purpose built centre, equipped with Burtons Underwater Treadmill, Westcoast Jacuzzi Hot Spa, a range of FitPaws rehabilitation equipment, a shower unit, & spacious kennels. The right candidate will be happy to work alone, but also within the Wellness Centre team which includes a Veterinary Surgeon Acupuncturist & a nurse/hydrotherapy assistant.

Angell West, a 24-hour emergency and referral hospital in Waltham, MA, has recently acquired an established and highly successful physical therapy practice.  We are in the process of incorporating this physical therapy practice into our current location, with a planned expansion in 2018.

Veterinarian / Director of Animal Rehabilitation

HydroPaws Animal Rehabilitation and Performance Center seeks a Veterinarian with Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) or Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) license to join us as the Director of Animal Rehabilitation.  CVA Certified Acupuncturist preferred, but not required.

Ideal candidate's qualifications should include: at least two years veterinary experience including patient care, client communication and technical skills, venipuncture, urinary bladder expression, urinary catheter placement, cystocentesis, intramuscular and subcutaneous injection administration, wound care, filling prescriptions, client education, word processing, digital records/practice software,.

CCRA/CCRP certification or training/coursework in canine rehabilitation therapy and/or experience in rehabilitation therapy is preferred but we are willing to train qualified candidates with a strong interest in rehabilitation therapy.
